It’s pronounced: NEH der lan suh  COY ker hund juh,
but you can also just say “Kooiker”   COY ker!

We would like to welcome you, and introduce you to the Nederlandse Kooikerhondje breed in Canada.  We have fallen in love with this breed, and want to share as much information with you as we can.

The Nederlandse Kooikerhondje Club of Canada is more than just a concept; we are an enthusiastic community dedicated to the "Little Decoy Dog." Whether your Kooiker is a high-performance athlete in the agility ring or a professional "foot warmer" on the sofa, you belong here.

What We Do:

Support & Connect: We bring together owners from across Canada to share the joys and unique challenges of this spirited Dutch breed.

Breed Preservation: We provide resources on health testing (vWD, ENM), ethical breeding standards, and the CKC recognition process.

Education: From grooming tips to understanding the "Kooiker temperament," we help you navigate life with your companion.
